2025 GMC Acadia Denali exceeds expectations
Published in Business News
General Motors has stepped up its game tremendously in recent years with a focus primarily on SUVs and trucks, and their array of consumer brands such as Buick and Cadillac have recently got a lot of attention. The GMC Acadia just got a refresh for 2025, and the recent release is nothing short of exceptional.
We tested the new 2025 Acadia Denali AWD, and what GMC can do to a vehicle is astounding! It gets perfect marks for gas mileage, price, comfort, design, storage and capacity. This SUV satisfies all consumer wants and needs for a great price.
Wrapped in White Frost Tricoat, with a white double-stitched leather interior, our tester was classy and comfortable. The Denali Reserve package, at an additional $3,000, added performance suspension, Bose 16-speaker upgrade, 22-inch wheels and panoramic sunroof. Averaging north of 22 miles per gallon, the Acadia Denali AWD pairs a potent 2.5-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine with the eight-speed automatic transmission — a great combo and one that had plenty of pep in its step.
Super Cruise, the autonomous experience, was the most enjoyable part of driving the Acadia Denali. Having put its capabilities to the test and went on the Massachusetts Turnpike, my passion for Volvo and its autonomous driving now takes a backseat to GM's Super Cruise system. For over 80 miles, we experienced no issues, as Super Cruise did an outstanding job and was able to drive hands free for the entire experience. With Super Cruise being an upgraded option for all GM brands, there certainly is something to say for this product.
GM has built another chart-topper, as the Acadia will certainly exceed consumers' expectations. In my family, we don't generally need a seven-seater SUV, but I can see why families and people movers are flocking to the Acadia for their next purchase; and let’s not forget the Denali reserved upgrade, which is the cherry on top.
