Kristin Chenoweth needs a "reason to smile" this Christmas.
The 56-year-old actress has decided that she has no qualms about decorating for the holiday season more than a month early and wants others to do the same if they want to cheer themselves up.
She told UsWeekly: "I want a reason to smile. So, I will be getting out my tree November 1 and start decorating it and make myself feel better and I'm not going to feel bad about it.
"And I want to encourage [fans], don't feel guilty. Get out there, go to Home Goods, get all your crap and come home and decorate."
Meanwhile, the 'Out Little Secret' star revealed that she is rarely out of bed before late in the morning because her job requires her to perform at night.
She said: "I don't like to get up before 11, and I don't like to speak before noon. I'm a night owl. I entertain at night."
Kristin- who tied the knot with Josh Bryant, 42, in 2023 - originated the role of Glinda in the smash-hit musical 'Wicked' in 2003 and now that Ariana Grande has taken on the part in the big screen adaptation, she has recalled "holding hands" with the pop star at one of the early screenings.
Speaking on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', Kristin said: "It's like a love letter to our show, it's a love letter to Broadway. I sat there with Ariana at the premiere holding her hand. I've know her since she was 10, she came to my dressing room and said 'I wanna play Glinda' and I said 'You will!' When she got the audition, we both squealed. We sounded like dolphins. And then she gets the part."
"After we watched the movie...she was nervous, she paid beautiful homage to my work but she did her own, too. Very much so. She looked at me, we were both crying, and she said 'Are you proud of me?' I lost my mind. 'What do you mean?', I said, 'I'm so proud of you!'"
