Niklas Eriksson

Legend has it that Niklas Eriksson is a seasoned moose-milker and bear-wrestler. We know for sure that Eriksson is from the Hornefors village of Sweden. He is a full time comic strip artist and loves sports, especially ice hockey.

Eriksson's “Carpe Diem” strip offers readers something funny every day. If Monday brought a thinking volcano, Tuesday may bring “CSI: Space Station,” or a barcode-scanning laser tag competition.

Carpe Diem has enjoyed great popularity and success in Northern Europe, winning Scandinavia’s biggest comic prize, the Pondus Award, in 2008.
